Cozumel hotel, the Presidente InterContinental, was named the 4th best hotel in the world recently, by top travel website Expedia. It was also the top hotel in Mexico in the Insiders' Select 2009 list, chosen by the website's customers and experts. |
Another Cozumel hotel, the Cozumel Palace, came a close number 4 in Mexico and number 16 in the world.
Expedia said they reviewed more than 80,000 hotels and resorts, giving each one a numerical score.
The scores are completely independent of advertisers and partners and only those with the highest scores made it onto the Insiders' Select list.
