Cozumel Pearl Farm Tour

Escape to Cozumel's secluded pearl farm.

$160.00

Escape to your own pristine white sand beach at Cozumel's secluded pearl farm.

Learn about the patience needed for the long cultivation process and see some of the island's first farmed pearls.

Your escape to the breathtaking north of Cozumel begins downtown, where you jump aboard a boat. Depending on conditions, the ride will take about 45 minutes, then you arrive to an almost unknown stretch of the island's unhabitated coast line with wonderful deserted white sand beaches.

The farm is family-run and uses knowledge from the South Pacific to grow the pearls. You'll be shown personally around the pearl farm and lab. Experts will be on hand to explain the process and answer any questions you have.

The farm received a setback in its early days, when Hurricane Wilma swept everything away in 2005. They have worked hard since and are now producing the first Cozumel pearls and have just opened their palm tree doors to the public.

After learning how the farm works you can go out by boat and snorkel to see the pearl hatchery for yourself. You'll also get to see how an artificial reef is growing and the life size Virgen de Guadalupe statue underwater.

The rest of the tour time is left for relaxing on the beach or in a hammock, and cooling off in the postcard-perfect turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

Just when you're getting hungry lunch is served, with the best beach grilled Angus beef burgers you'll ever try (vegetarian option available by prior request). Beers, soft drinks and bottled water are also all included, so you can keep well-lubricated as you enjoy your perfect day in paradise.

And, if you were too busy relaxing to take any photos, don't worry, your guide has been snapping away and will email you the pictures free of charge so you can show them to everybody when you get back home. That's if you're not too busy showing them the pearls, jewelry or other souvenirs that you bought at the farm.

This Cozumel pearl farm tour truly will be the best day of your vacation, nowhere else in the Caribbean can you visit such quiet white sand beaches, learn about a fascinating farming process and be in a small group with such excellent, personalized service.

No matter what else you do on your vacation, don't miss out on this pearl of an opportunity!
