El Cid Goes "Up A Notch"

Carlos Berdegue, CEO of El Cid Resorts, said this week that the El Cid hotel in Cozumel is being "remodelled entirely" and will re-open on 15 March 2006. He explained, "We'll actually be going up a notch in quality" and "our goal is to come back stronger than ever".
All common areas, including swimming pools, restaurants and bars, are being entirely rebuilt. The interiors of rooms will also be refurbished and electrical appliances replaced.
The announcement follows a complete hurricane damage evaluation by the El Cid Construction Company.
