The shaman, a traditional healer, will bless your union in front of the four Mayan elements, asking for the energy of the Universe to be present, and giving you both a bond of energy and everlasting love.
The ceremony can be in English or Spanish followed by the opportunity to rejuvenate the body and soul in a traditional Mayan steam bath, or temazcal to use it pre-Hispanic Mexican name.
Later, you and your guests can enjoy the rest of Chankanaab Park, including the Pre-hispanic Eco Tour, tequila factory, beach, coral reef and all the facilities including restrooms, hammocks, palapa shades, beach chairs, swimming pool, showers and more.
To top it all, we've struck a deal with a top local wedding photographer and can offer digital photography of your beautiful event at a heavily discounted price. Pay just $150 to have photos of the ceremony and the first part of the steam bath, or pay $240 and include a 30 minute photo shoot with amazing park back-drops too!
Note: There is no requirement to be married and gay and lesbian couples are also welcome to take this ceremony!
Price:
$200 per couple
Guests 14 years and over, $80 per person.
Guests 3 to 13 years and over, $60 per person.
Guests 0 to 2 years and over, $FREE.
Note: minimum age to participate in the steam bath is 6 years. Children under 6 years will need to remain accompanied by an adult while the rest of the group is in the steam bath.
Basic photography: $150
Professional digital photography of the ceremony and the first part of the steam bath.
Deluxe photography: $240
Professional digital photography of the ceremony, first part of the steam bath and a 30 minute photo shoot with fantastic back-drops in the park. The photoshoot will be done before the ceremony, so you will need to arrive an hour before the ceremony starts.
Duration: Approximately 2 hours for the ceremony and steam bath. Allow an extra hour before the ceremony if you include the deluxe photography, this is to prepare and have the 30 minute photoshoot.
Ceremony dates/times:
Monday - Saturday at 9am, 11am or 1pm.
Location:
Takes place at Chankanaab Park on Cozumel's south-west coast, about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from downtown and the cruise ship piers. A taxi for up to 4 passengers costs approximately $10-$12.

* Transportation between venue and hotel/cruise ship.

E-ticket:
For every confirmed booking you will be required to print an E-ticket which is presented at the destination.
