You will be transported by a taxi-van that has a hydraulic ramp and the rear row of seats removed, so one wheelchair or scooter user can be lifted into the rear of the vehicle while in their chair and have a comfortable position facing forwards alongside other passengers.
There is also space for two foldable wheelchairs and your friendly driver/guide will be happy to assist anyone that needs extra help climbing aboard.
We only work with the best drivers, who are friendly, helpful and speak good English. They will help you make the most of your tour and give you information about local sights, history and culture.
Go anywhere you like in the time you have available on your Cozumel wheelchair tour - you could make a circuit of the island or visit specific accessible attractions such as the Hacienda Antigua tequila center, Discover Mexico exhibition or a beach bar and restaurant.

Important: our drivers are helpful and willing, but not medically trained and have a limit to the weight they can lift. Wheelchair and scooter users should still make sure they have someone else in their group to assist if necessary. The floors have not been lowered in the vans, so people that sit extra tall in their wheelchairs may have more limited headroom and views. It's also important that the wheelchair or scooter has good brakes as it will not be tethered inside the van.
