One of the best ways to enjoy Cozumel's world class snorkeling is by boat, that way you get to see beautiful reefs as well as an abundance of underwater life.
A number of tours are available and this week thisiscozumel.com tried a catamaran tour that departs directly from Paradise Beach. An advantage of this tour is that you can relax on the beach for the day and go snorkeling - making the most of your vacation time.

The paper said the ship will be located off Playa Casitas, at the north end of the downtown seafront. This means it will be outside of the Marine Park, avoiding any ecological problems and making it easily accessible for locals and tourists alike.
