The tour costs USD $10, includes two delicious tequila drinks and lasts about 40 minutes. You learn about the many types of agave cactus and how it is cropped, pulped, fermented and distilled.
At the end of the tour you get to try some more award winning tequila - this is not your typical 'knock-it-back-shot', but a finer liquor comparable to a good Scotch whisky or French cognac. The Hacienda also has an extensive shop selling its own brand of tequilas, small bottles start from USD $5.
