The island's Hotel Association said this week that over $80 million have been spent on renovating hotels since last October. All bar two of its members are now open.
They said that upgrades and improvements among hotels include a new dock, ecological cottages, a convention center and sports complexes. Work has progressed well and 88 per cent of hotel rooms are already available.
