A wave of new bars and restaurants is opening on Cozumel's downtown seafront. Last month restaurant-bar Chi opened, following Fu Bar and the No Name bar earlier in the year.
Havana Blue is a new bar open in the Forum Shops building, on the seafront north of the downtown pier. Havana Blue spokesman, Gary Klein, is optimistic that with good forecasts for hotel occupancy, there will be enough business for all the new venues.
Aqua bar and beach also opened recently for cruise tours. Located near the Park Royal hotel, they plan to open soon to the general public as well.
