Tough Paddling To Cozumel

Those paddling the 30 canoes across the sea to Cozumel, last Friday, had a tough job.

The currents and wind were against them as they took part in this year's historic Travesía Sagrada Maya, or Mayan Sacred Journey.

Chris, 63, from Arizona, first visited Cozumel to dive in 1990 and has been back many times over the years since.

He's an experienced wildlife photographer and recreational diver, with a keen eye for underwater imagery.

A special fashion show was held in Cozumel, last month, to raise money for ultrasound equipment for the island's therapy and rehabilitation center, C.R.I.C.

The stars gracing the catwalk included local girls with Down's Syndrome, deafness and other different needs.
