The tour takes off with a 25-40 minute scenic flight over the coasts of Yucatan peninsula in a small aircraft. You will fly low enough to enjoy spectacular views!
Then, after landing at Isla Mujeres or Holbox's small airstrip, you are transferred to a fast boat for an unforgettable whale shark tour.
The tours first started when local fishermen noticed the amazingly friendly behavior of huge spotted sharks, they are in fact the world's largest living fish species.
Nature is amazing here, the beaches have fluffy white sand and shallow waters, and further out are pretty reefs and amazing marine life, like whale sharks and manta rays.
Holbox and Isla Mujeres remain welcoming islands of fishermen and sandy roads; well kept secrets!
The 4 hour whale shark tour includes experienced multilingual guides, plenty of time to have a close encounter with these amazing creatures, snorkel equipment, drinking water and lunch.
After the boat tour, you will return to Holbox or Isla Mujeres where you have about 1 hour of free time to explore the island before your flight back to Cozumel airport.

Total duration: approx. 8 hours (inc. 35 minute flight each way).
Return time: approx. 3pm.
Minimum group size of 3 people. If there are less than 3 people on the day the tour will still go ahead but an extra $30 supplement per person will be payable at the airport.
Includes: Round trip flight Cozumel-Isla Mujeres-Cozumel or Cozumel–Holbox–Cozumel in small aircraft, 4 hour whale shark tour, snorkel equipment, multilingual guide, drinking water and lunch.
Excludes: $30 per person airport tax to be paid at the airport, optional gratuities.
Information for divers:
It is possible to take this tour while on a diving vacation in Cozumel as the flight from Cozumel to Holbox/Isla Mujeres and back has a height of 1,500-2,500 feet (450-760m) which is a low flight. The local hyperbaric chamber recommends 12 hours between your last recreational, no-decompression dive and the flight. Contact us if you need more information.
