Some cruise lines confirmed last night that they would be temporarily suspending calls in Cozumel.

There have been no reported cases of swine flu in Cozumel or the state of Quinana Roo and the measures are purely precautionary.

Restaurants, hotels and tours continue to welcome tourists in Cozumel.

Visitors are still arriving by air and ferry although in lower numbers.

Major British airline and tour operator, First Choice/ Thomson, confirmed today that their flights from the United Kingdom to Cozumel are scheduled to start next week.
