A new direct flight will start between Detroit and Cozumel on December 20, 2008.

The route will be flown once a week by US airline USA3000, using Airbus A320 planes with a capacity for 168 passengers.

 

The airline will operate the flight out of the new North Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), due to open in September 2008.

A new route from Detroit to Montego Bay in Jamaica will be launched at the same time as the Cozumel flight. The airline also flies from Detroit to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and Fort Myers in Florida.
