Cozumel is enjoying a busy holiday season, with hundreds of thousands of visitors expected over Christmas and New Year.

Christmas week saw a total of 32 cruise ships and 52 flights arrive to the island and even more are scheduled for this week.

The square outside City Hall has a giant Christmas tree and festive displays, and there are lights along the oceanfront and downtown streets.

Hotels are reporting high occupation rates and tours are selling out fast. If you’re here during the rest of December or January be sure to make tour reservations now to avoid disappointment.
