The Oasis of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship, was delivered to its homeport in Florida, last week.

The new record-breaking vessel from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines sets sail on Caribbean cruises next month and will first visit Cozumel Island on December 16th.

An architectural marvel at sea, she spans 16 decks, encompasses 225,282 gross registered tons, carries 5,400 guests at double occupancy, and features 2,700 staterooms.

Royal Caribbean said the official naming ceremony for the Oasis of the Seas will take place on Monday, November 30th during a one night inaugural celebration fundraising event at its homeport of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
