Cozumel charities
Help animals in the community and more.
Local realtors RE/MAX Complete have started a campaign to encourage people to support charities in the local community.

They've posted information on their website about 6 organizations that they support.

Owner-operator, James Watts, said he hopes to encourage visitors and locals alike to donate or help the community in other ways.

The groups they are promoting are the Humane Society, the Foundation of Parks and Museums, DIF Cozumel, Un Kilo de Ayuda, the Turtle Protection Program and the Red Cross.

The Humane Society is also holding its annual Christmas fund raising event on December 28, said RE/MAX. It will be held 7.30pm - 1am at La Cocay restaurant on Calle 8 norte between Avenida 10 and 15.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at La Cocay, Rock n Java, The American Drugstore, Galeria Azul, the HS Booth (in front of Carlos and Charlies) or from Andrea (Mex. cel. 044-987-564-4406).
