The beautiful colonial style façade to the building is a survivor from the glory days of the Yucatan Peninsula, when the basis of the economy was the trading of henequen - a type of agave plant whose fiber was used to make rope and twine.
Casa Mission also offers live music every night with a very Mexican atmosphere. While dining, enjoy the melodies of local musicians playing as their forefathers used to.
