Cozumel Rotary Club meeting
The Governor and Rotary Queen.
Félix González Canto, the Governor of the State of Quintana Roo, swore in the new Cozumel Rotary Club committee at a special meeting on the island last week.

Rotary International is a worldwide organization that provides humanitarian service and aims to help build goodwill and peace in the world.

The event was held in a hotel in Cozumel and was also attended by the local club's President, Cesar Trejo Vázquez, and the Mayor of Cozumel, Gustavo Ortega Joaquín.

González praised the work of the Club and said that they "represented the hope of support" for many people in Cozumel.

Later in the meeting Samantha Trejo Robles was crowned the new Queen of the local Rotary Club for the coming year.
