Cozumel kiteboarding
Kite tricks in Cozumel.
Cozumel Island will host a National Kiteboarding competition from the 17th to the 19th of November 2007, to kick off the official 2007/2008 Mexican Kiteboarding Tour.

The best riders from across Mexico will battle waves and wind around the island, providing a spectacular event for all to see for free.

Local pro kiteboard instructor, Raul de Lille, is one of the event organizers. He explained that the wind almost always blows in at least 1 of 5 spots around the island, offering some of the best conditions in the world for this fast growing new sport.

More news about the competition will follow on This Is Cozumel.
