27 November 06: Carnival Cruise Lines is to pay $700,000 annually to dock in Cozumel, according to a new agreement between the company and the State Port Authority. Reported by Noticaribe.

01 December 06: The State Port Authority will invest $1 million in a new 'Marine Traffic Control Tower' for Cozumel in 2007. Reported by Noticaribe.
