Whilst you're on vacation in Cozumel why not make a day trip to the mainland? The Mayan Caribbean coast is full of treasures such as the mysterious ruins of Tulum, or Xel-Ha lagoon and water park. You can visit both in one day from Cozumel.

Or you could discover the magic of Xcaret, the 'sacred paradise'. The Maya are said to have bathed there to purify their minds and bodies before sailing to Cozumel to worship the goddess of fertility, Ixchel. Xcaret is also an easy daytrip from Cozumel.
