Cruise Ships To Return In Force |

A dozen cruise ships are confirmed to return to Cozumel next week, just 3 weeks after Hurricane Wilma left the island's shores. The incredible speed of recovery on the island is testimony to the will and spirit of the local people.
A week long fiesta has been organised to celebrate the return of visitors. The downtown plaza will be "transformed into a lively entertainment venue where cruise passengers and locals alike can celebrate", said Raul Marrufo, director of the Cozumel Tourism Promotion Board.
The ships are - Monday: Carnival Triumph, Celebrity Galaxy; Tuesday: Princess Star, Norwegian Sun and Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas; Wednesday: Carnival Miracle, Norwegian Majesty, Coral Princess and Celebrity Zenith; Thursday: Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas; Friday: Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas; and Saturday: Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas.
