A range of beach clubs is open along Cozumel's south-western white sand coast. From a tranquil beach with red snapper lunches fresh from their own boats, to larger clubs with music, bars and restaurants.
As you travel south from Chankanaab on the main highway, the beaches are: San Francisco, Paradise Beach, Playa Mia, Mr Sanchos, Albertos (Paso del Cedral) and Palancar Beach.
Palm Beach just before San Francisco is renting beach chairs and umbrellas, but the bar and restaurant is closed. Nachi-Cocom was closed down before Wilma and has not re-opened.
