Mexican newspaper Por Esto! reported this week that a new 'master plan' has been developed to make Chankanaab Park even better, with a timetable to re-open by February.
The Park, one of Cozumel's favourite attractions, had hoped to re-open sooner but suffered considerable damage from Wilma, particularly to buildings.
